Tucson, AZ -- The 5151 E. Broadway commercial office tower will serve as the backdrop for Over The Edge, a Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona November 13th fundraising event.
Girl Scouts CEO Kristen Hernandez said, "We are thrilled to be able to host this incredible rappelling event once again at the 5151 building in Tucson. This unique fundraiser gives adults opportunities to face challenges and adversity, just as we ask our Girl Scouts to do every day. Through this pursuit, we create strong and courageous leaders of tomorrow."
5151 leasing, property management company, and tenant Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR has two representatives going Over the Edge. PICOR Edger Alex Demeroutis commented, "I'm petrified to go over the edge, but I want to show girls that being courageous is feeling the fear and doing it anyway. I'm thrilled to go Over The Edge to bring Girl Scouting to girls in high-need communities."
Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona aims for a total of 80 "Edgers" to rappel down the 17 stories of the 5151 E. Broadway building. $1,000 must be raised through donations and pledges to rappel, and it is not too late to sign up. Contributions are 100 percent tax-deductible.
