Raytheon Rheinmetall Land Systems selects US manufacturer for Army combat vehicle competition

Textron Systems joins Lynx team

TUCSON, Ariz.– Raytheon Rheinmetall Land Systems, a joint venture of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) and Rheinmetall Defence, has selected Textron Systems as the U.S. chassis manufacturer for the Lynx Infantry Fighting Vehicle. The team of industry leaders is offering Lynx to meet the U.S. Army’s requirement for an Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV).

Textron Systems brings unique capabilities in hull fabrication, rolling chassis assembly, integration and testing to the OMFV program. The company will support final integration during the development and prototyping phase of the program. In parallel, Textron Systems will prepare to build the Lynx chassis during future production phases. Textron Systems intends to perform the work at its Slidell, Louisiana, manufacturing facility.

The U.S. Army’s OMFV, scheduled for fielding in 2026, is expected to replace the legacy Bradley Fighting Vehicle.

Long-term lease worth $1.071M for popular West Valley sports grill in Peoria

PHOENIX, ARIZ.– NAI Horizon represented the landlord in negotiating a long-term lease for a popular West Valley sports bar at Thunderbird Beltway Plaza, 8378 W. Thunderbird Road in Peoria, Arizona.

The NAI Horizon retail properties team of Senior Vice Presidents Shelby Tworek, Chris Gerow and Gabe Ortega and Associate Patrick Anthon represented the landlord, CP6TB, LLC of Phoenix in the transaction totaling $1.07 million.

We’re excited to add Fuzzy’s Sports Grill to our great tenant mix at Thunderbird Beltway,” Anthon said. “We have had success keeping the occupancy rate high for many years and believe locking Fuzzy’s into a long-term lease will benefit both parties. Fuzzy’s is hoping to open by November.”  

Fuzzy’s Sports Grill will join tenants at Thunderbird Beltway Plaza that include anchor EOS Fitness, Sprout’s, Lowe’s, CVS and 99 Cents Only. It will occupy 4,532-square-feet.

The tenant, Fuzzy’s Global, LLC, was represented by Rosemarie Rommes of Gimlet Realty.
