Phoenix, Arizona. (April 10, 2024)—AZCREW, the commercial real estate organization that exists to transform the industry by advancing women globally, is hosting an inaugural pickleball tournament on Thursday, April 18.
The tournament begins at 3 p.m. with a beginners’ clinic at the courts at Phoenix Country Club, 2901 N. 7th St., in Phoenix. The clinic will be led by pickleball instructor Nancy Meyer, a dedicated player and coach who specializes in creating a safe, injury-free experience in the world’s fastest-growing sport.
Tournament check-in for the beginner and intermediate/advanced brackets begins at 4:30 p.m. Tournament play is from 5 to 7:30 p.m. An event “thank you” and announcement of winners are from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets are available for spectators to attend or participate in the educational pre-tournament clinic.
“We are excited to present AZCREW's inaugural pickleball event, offering both a clinic for beginners and tournament play that lends to the organization's commitment to inclusivity,” said Ashley Zappia with Stockdale, and the AZCREW Special Events Committee Chair. “Pickleball provides a health-conscious and collaborative environment for teams, perfect for deal-makers and networking, on and off the court. We look forward to the opportunity for court time and connections for all spectators and sponsors.”
