Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl Announces Extra Yard for Teachers; $20,000 in grants

TUCSON, ARIZONA — Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl announces its Extra Yard for Teachers to give away $20,000 in grants to eligible teachers in Southern Arizona.

In continuing its mission and tradition of giving back to Southern Arizona, the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl announces that it has partnered with the College Football Playoff Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers program and will provide 20 grants of $1,000 each to local teachers to recognize and award these outstanding members of our community.

Awards will be announced beginning September 14, 2021, culminating with the selected teachers being recognized during the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl.

Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl is owned and operated by TD4Tucson, a Tucson-based non-profit organization, the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl provides world-class experiences for college student-athletes, fans, and the local community, culminating in a nationally recognized college football competition. This year’s game will kick-off on December 31 at Arizona Stadium, featuring teams from the Mountain West and Mid-American Conferences, and will broadcast exclusively on BarstoolSports.com and its associated digital platforms.
