PHOENIX, ARIZ. – The first all-vegan grocery store in Arizona, a pair of Pilates studios, and a yoga studio are among recent retail deals closed by Bryant Commercial Real Estate (BCRE), a woman/minority-owned company.

BCRE’s Vinny Summo negotiated a 25-month lease to bring Veggie Rebellion to a 1,400-square-foot storefront at 5717 W. Glendale Ave., in Glendale, Ariz.

“This is the beginning of a changing retail landscape,” Summo said. “The vegan food industry grew by $3.1 billion in one year.”

Veggie Rebellion will feature a brick storefront, back patio, and ample parking in downtown Glendale. It will be the only distributor in Arizona to carry products by Minneapolis-based Herbivorous Butcher. Both companies started in a farmers’ market.

Other deals:

  • Adrienne Bryant closed a long-term lease for Club Pilates at Scottsdale North Marketplace, 1,973-square-feet. Club Pilates will join the AJ’s-anchored center in 1Q 2018. Bryant negotiated a long-term deal for another Club Pilates location, 1,600 SF, at Longbow Marketplace in Mesa. The Sprout’s-anchored retail center is a new development at Recker Road and the Loop 202.
  • Bryant also negotiated a long-term lease for Royal Nutrition, 965-square-feet, at Huntington Square, 3137 S. Mill Ave., Tempe.
  • Joni Bryant negotiated a long-term lease for Twisted Yoga Studios, 1,815 SF, at Broadway Marketplace, 937 E. Broadway, Tempe.

“We are thrilled to continue working with fresh and new concepts for franchisors and small business owners,” said Adrienne Bryant, Owner/Designated Broker of BCRE. “These recent deals show the diversity of businesses we are helping open their doors.”
