Big-D Construction Heavy Industrial celebrates 1 year of excelling in the advanced mining, manufacturing space

TEMPE, ARIZ. (June 23, 2023) — When Big-D Construction launched its Heavy Industrial business unit a year ago, it did so with the goal of being a leader in the advanced mining and manufacturing space.

As it celebrates its 1-year anniversary, Big-D Heavy Industrial has flourished with global brand experience and a collective, integrated approach to managing the transition from construction to operations. Its team members have proven to be the best in the business.

“Our commitment to long-term relationships translates to execution of our work, prompt communication, and a daily focus on being a great partner,” said Bryan Allinson, Senior Vice President of Big-D Heavy Industrial.

Joining Allinson on the leadership team is Kyle Sargent, PE, Director of Preconstruction. Sargent earned a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA from Louisiana State University. Allinson holds a bachelor of science degree in construction management from Northern Arizona University.

From site preparation to process plant facilities, Big-D Heavy Industrial offers advanced construction solutions with safety as a priority and a steadfast knowledge of the business. Team members combined have more than 200 years of experience with global brands including Bayer Industries and MP Materials.

In the past year Big-D Heavy Industrial has expanded its industry expertise in wastewater, reclamation, refineries, smelters, leach pads, concentrators, and process plants.

“Success in this complex market requires safe environments, positive interactions, and experienced professionals,” Allinson said. “Big-D Heavy Industrial has displayed great prowess in those areas the past 12 months. It’s been a great first year.”
