SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Commercial real estate developer SimonCRE continues rapid growth with the recent hire of Carl Wood as Acquisition and Leasing Manager to assist with the site selection responsibilities of SimonCRE’s growing portfolio of retail projects.
SimonCRE currently has over fifty projects in the pipeline valued at over $100 million, creating thousands of jobs across the country. The projected total transactional volume will surpass $140 million in 2016. There are seven projects currently under construction in three different states.
Wood will work closely with the project managers performing due diligence as it pertains to site selections across the country for SimonCRE’s expanding portfolio of national clients. He will prepare and negotiate contracts, research market data, investigate site data, fees, permits and other various research that will greatly assist our development teams in the accurate execution of project timelines.

Wood spent the last four years with Embree Group learning a variety of commercial real estate skills in site selection, due diligence, development, brokerage and construction.
Wood holds a Bachelor degree in Business Finance with an emphasis in Investment Finance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Murray State University. He also has his Arizona real estate license.
