Triple Shift Entertainment Buys 4 Tucson Bowling Alleys for $9.61 Million

TUCSON, ARIZONA, January 6, 2023 – The Minnesota-based company, Triple Shift Entertainment recently purchased four Tucson Bowling Alleys. Triple Shift Entertainment already owned ten bowling alleys in Minnesota and claims bowling is in their DNA on their website.

The four independently owned bowling centers were all being operated by Vantage Bowling Center for the previous owner, Gilda Jill Theis of Tucson.

The four properties include:

  • Lucky Strike, 4015 E Speedway sold for $2,177,525 with 32 lanes, full-service bar, pro shop, food court, meeting spaces and arcade.
  • Tucson Bowl, 7020 E 21st Street sold for $1,871,450 with 24 lanes, a full-service bar, pro shop, food court and arcade.
  • Fiesta Lanes, 501 W River Rd. sold for $3,115,615 with 40 lanes, a full-service bar, pro shop, food court, meeting rooms, equipment rental and arcade.
  • Cactus Bowl Lanes, 3665 S 16th Ave sold for $2,456,390 with 32 lanes, lounge / bar, food service, pro shop, equipment rental, and arcade.

Tucson Industrial Market Remains Active

C&W | PICOR recently sold a single-tenant industrial building at 3525 South Palo Verde Road, in Tucson, to William D Marcue for $830,000 ($83.84 PSF) from Paul E. Monson and Jan S. Monson. It sits on a 28,226 SF lot, has three grade-level doors, three gate entrances, a new built-up roof system, and a new evaporative cooling system. It is comprised of 60% warehouse, 40% showroom, and has two fenced yards. It is ideally located near Interstate 10 and within one mile of the Barraza-Aviation Parkway (SR-210 – Tucson’s only dedicated crosstown expressway).

Mark Mazda Buys Land for Marana Dealership at I-10 & Cortaro

MARANA, ARIZONA, January 4, 2023 — Jeramy Price and Brenna Lacey of Volk Company and Chuck Wells of Kidder Mathews represented the seller, Cortaro Commercial JV, LLC, c/o Thompson Thrift Development, in the sale of approximately 157,060 square feet, (3.61 acres) of land for a purchase price of $2,095,310 ($13 PSF).

Located at the northeast corner of Cortaro and Interstate 10, the buyer, Jormar Investment Company, LLC, purchased for construction of a two-story car dealership building (approximately 24,000 SF under roof) and site including grading, structural, MEP and landscape. The project will include sales and service repair facilities dba Mark Mazda Dealership.

The transaction closed December 7, 2022.

Mark Mazda is currently in Scottsdale, selling new and pre-owned vehicles as well as auto maintenance for everything from oil changes and filter replacements to power-train and drive-train repairs.
