GILBERT, Ariz.– Maracay is kicking off 2019 at a record pace as it prepares to unveil its second and third East Valley communities this year. The public will get a first look at the highly-anticipated communities on Saturday, Feb. 9 with grand opening celebrations for Windermere Ranch in Chandler and The Lakes at Annecy in Gilbert.

Both grand opening events will include neighborhood gatherings from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and feature catered barbecue lunches and refreshments. Dozens of shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities, including the popular SanTan Village retail center, are a short walk from the community.

Inside the neighborhood, The Lakes at Annecy offers all the comforts of resort-style living amid a luxurious setting of mature landscape, multiple lakes with docks, three pool complexes, playgrounds and a basketball court. Tree-lined streets and carefully crafted home exteriors provide a picturesque backdrop from any vantage point. Seven new Flex Design® floor plans, ranging from approximately 1,261 to 2,269 square feet, feature open layouts, indoor-outdoor living areas and plenty of space to accommodate a wide range of living situations.

Windermere Ranch – Chandler
Located on the northeast corner of Riggs and Cooper roads, the gated community lies in one of Chandler’s most desirable regions with easy access to Downtown Chandler, the Price Road Corridor, the Loop 202/San Tan Freeway and neighboring cities.

Windermere Ranch features 91 homesites of all single-story homes with four distinct Flex Design® floor plans to suit a variety of needs. An impressive selection of community amenities encourage families to enjoy the outdoors and play on the half basketball court, relax on a picnic blanket at one of the community lawns and fire up the barbecue grill.

Both East Valley neighborhoods are located within the most sought-after regions in the Phoenix metropolitan area. In fact, Gilbert consistently ranks among the most livable cities in America and is one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S. Gilbert and Chandler alike beckon their residents outside, where walking and biking have become a way of life and parks and pedestrian-friendly paths weave throughout the cities’ infrastructures. Both are home to high-performing East Valley schools, top entertainment venues, dozens of golf courses, several museums and offer easy access to amenities in Phoenix via the Loop 202.

All the homes within both communities are Energy Star® certified and will be registered with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a third-party rating system that verifies compliance across several areas addressing sustainability, with the goal of earning the LEED® Certified designation. Designed to use 30-50 percent less energy than typical homes, each home will meet the EPA’s Indoor airPLUS specifications and will feature water-efficient fixtures, LED lighting, energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, Energy Star® appliances, tankless water heaters, and Wi-Fi enabled, programmable thermostats.
