Southern Arizona CRE Lease Activity | June 9-13, 2025

TUCSON, AZ (June 16, 2025) — Tucson’s commercial real estate market continues to display steady leasing momentum, with 149,387 square feet of activity tracked this past week—34,600 square feet in new leases and 114,787 square feet in renewals. Industrial and office sectors led in total volume, while smaller retail spaces accounted for a diverse mix of tenant-driven activity across multiple submarkets.

The Central Submarket remains the most active area, recording over six transactions during the week. This includes major lease renewals, such as those with Alorica and Jared Jewelers, alongside a mix of smaller office and retail deals that highlight continued tenant demand in core areas. In the Northeast Submarket, more than 8,000 square feet of new leases were signed, primarily by tenants in the health care and professional services sectors. This activity reinforces the submarket’s positioning as a hub for medical and investment office users. Meanwhile, the South Submarket experienced steady renewal activity among industrial tenants. The consistency of these lease extensions underscores the area’s ongoing role as a key location for light manufacturing and service-driven operations.
