Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Welcomes New Biltmore/Paradise Valley Branch Manager

PHOENIX, AZ. – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage is pleased to welcome Koena Tapscott as Branch Manager of its Biltmore/Paradise Valley office.

Tapscott brings 13 years of real estate excellence — all within the Coldwell Banker family — to her new management position. Prior to her career in real estate she worked in accounting and banking for 21 years.

When asked why her assets would make her a successful branch manager, Tapscott said, “Helping people achieve success and greatness are exciting to me. I enjoy the personal relationships with staff and associates, and being a team player striving towards common goals. I love to assist the established producers, but it’s especially rewarding to help the newer associates in developing their new businesses. I’ve had a lot of experience with property management, so staying on top of the property side of managing this office is second nature to me.”

Pursuing a real estate license in order to streamline her own personal transactions, Tapscott credits her good friend for changing her career path.

“I wasn’t looking at getting into real estate for a career, however, a close friend of mine, who ran a Coldwell Banker office, convinced me to go to work for him. It was the best move I ever made,” she said. Tapscott has been so successful in her new vocation that in 2004, after only one year, she was awarded the distinction of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM); the top commercial real estate designation in the world. Over the years, she has received numerous sales and achievement awards.

Tapscott grew up in New Mexico. She received a B.B.A. with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. She lives in Phoenix with her husband, Ralph, and their two dogs. During her leisure time, Koena enjoys snow skiing, off-roading, and running.
