Construction Begins on Riata at Alamar by LandSea Homes in Avondale

Best-in-class, High Performance Homes surrounded by array of amenities and recreational opportunities

Phoenix, Arizona – Landsea Homes announced today that it has begun construction on 75 single-family homes at Riata at Alamar in Avondale, Arizona.

“We’re excited to begin work on Riata at Alamar. It is such a coveted piece of land in one of the fastest growing cities in the West Valley and we look forward to providing best-in-class, high performance homes and unique amenities for new residents,” said Todd Condon, vice president of sales and marketing, Landsea Homes.

Riata at Alamar is a collection of one- and two-story homes with designs ranging from 1,800 square feet to 2,800 square feet that feature four distinct architectural styles of homes, including Craftsman/Bungalow, Spanish Colonial, Territorial Ranch and Traditional Southwest. Sales are expected to begin in September and the community Grand Opening is currently scheduled for October 10.

The first phase of the Alamar master-planned community includes 461 homesites within six distinct neighborhoods, located just north of the Estrella Mountains in Maricopa County, southwest of Phoenix and adjacent to Tolleson, Litchfield Park and Goodyear. Just four miles south of Interstate 10 between State Route 101 and 303, it represents one of the largest master-planned communities to be developed since 2013.

A 30-acre regional park, built in partnership with the City of Avondale, will serve as the central hub of the community. The development will additionally feature 34 art-filled parks, more than ten miles of biking paths and hiking trails, and plenty of multi-use green spaces.

The City of Avondale has seen tremendous growth in new development, both residential and commercial, while the Old Town area along Western Avenue preserves the historic business district with numerous opportunities for small, independent businesses.
