Cullum Homes Tops 2024 List of Largest Phoenix-Area Custom Home Builders
Scottsdale, AZ (July 8, 2025) – Scottsdale-based Cullum Homes has taken the top spot on the Phoenix Business Journal’s annual list of the Largest Custom Home Builders, more than doubling its year-over-year closing volume to reach $82.89 million in 2024. The firm jumped from No. 3 last year to No. 1, reflecting a surge in demand for luxury custom homes across the Valley.
Published July 4, the 2024 rankings showcase 21 of the region’s top custom builders, which collectively closed on $396.1 million in home sales. An additional $29.98 million in renovation revenue was reported by eight of the firms, signaling steady growth in both new construction and luxury remodeling.
Cullum Homes led the pack with $82.89 million in custom home closings and $9 million in renovation revenue. The firm recently sold out two of its signature communities in Paradise Valley—The Village at Mountain Shadows and Paradise Reserve—contributing to its record-setting year.
Salcito Custom Homes Ltd., which topped the 2023 list, held steady at No. 2 with $52.55 million in closings and a strong $13.67 million sale—the second-highest individual closing of the year.
A Finer Touch Construction claimed the No. 3 position with $35.23 million in total sales and the most expensive single-home closing on the list at $19.34 million.
