Don't Miss the 24th Annual CCIM Forecast Competition on Feb 10th, 2015

The Southern Arizona CCIM Chapter will be giving its market predictions for 2015 on Tuesday, February 10th at the 24th Annual CCIM Market Forecast Competition. There local commercial real estate brokers, lenders and appraisers specializing in the office, retail, multifamily, land, industrial and financing sectors will offer their thoughts, insights and opinions for the new year.

Continuing a local CCIM tradition, two more of Tucson’s Commercial Real Estate Legends will be honored. Jim Marian of Chapman Lindsey and George Larsen of Larsen Baker founded the tradition to give special recognition to those pioneers, visionaries, contributors, gamblers and risk takers who have helped shape our local market. This year’s inductees into Tucson Legends will be Dan Lyons and Andy Romo of Lyons Romo Inc.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Greg Byrne, Vice-President for Athletics at the University of Arizona. Byrne was named UA's 11th Director of Athletics in March 2010. Since then, he has helped Arizona athletics maintain its proud position both nationally and in the Pac-12. Under his leadership, the Wildcats have seen construction completed on the $72 million Lowell-Stevens Football Facility, the addition of two video boards in Arizona Stadium, and a new scoreboard in the McKale Center. The athletics department is currently in the final stages of Phase I of an overall $80 million renovation project for McKale. At a cost of $30 million, Phase I began in May 2014 and includes upgraded seating, hand rails, enhanced lighting and a new playing floor.

If you are wondering where year-end vacancy rates will be? Where Tucson's market is heading? What sectors will see the most growth? In one afternoon, attendees will walk away with a working knowledge of the current market conditions and insight into emerging opportunities. Now more than ever, you need to check in with what the experts are seeing in the market and expect to see as the year unfolds and attend the 24th Annual CCIM Market Forecast Competition
