Earth Day Celebration at Tucson Botanical Gardens Saturday, April 19, 10am – 1pm

Tucson, AZ (April 16, 2025)  – A family-friendly celebration of Earth Day at Tucson Botanical Gardens (TBG).

Led by the Gardens’ Education team, the Earth Day celebration will include crafts, activities, and programming for youth and adults, meditations and sound baths, live music, and more.

Included in Gardens admission, the event will feature:

  • Youth Education Earth Day Activities: for children of all ages, activities sprinkled throughout the Gardens include Earth Day-themed scavenger hunts; learning about solitary
    bees and making your own backyard bee hotel; botanical arts including leaf printing, plant shadow drawings, and stick flower weaving; creating forest faeries and upcycling plastic materials into beautiful botany decorations.
  • Docent led tours highlighting TBG sustainability practices will depart from the Pavilion every 30 minutes from 10am – 11:30am.
  • Singing bowls performance and meditation by Bev Pauls.
  • Musical performance by Gamelan Dewi Malam, Tucson’s Balinese Gamelan orchestra.
