Tucson Elevate at 9705 N Thornydale Rd #1, Marana
Phoenix, AZ (June 12, 2025) — Elevate Trampoline Park, a Mesa-based indoor entertainment company, is executing a bold expansion strategy in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Backed by Mesa-based private equity firm Northrim Horizon, Elevate is expanding both its footprint and market appeal through upgraded facilities and new locations.
In April, the Maricopa City Council unanimously approved the sale of a roughly two-acre lot at John Wayne & Alterra Parkways for nearly $900,000. The council authorized the land transfer to Northrim Elevate Holdings for the development of a 25,000-square-foot trampoline park, which will also include indoor dining and office components. This new site marks Elevate’s fifth Arizona location, joining existing parks in Mesa, Queen Creek, Goodyear, and Tucson.
The Elevate Trampoline Park in Tucson officially opened its doors in early 2021 at 9705 N. Thornydale Rd, Suite 1, in Marana, spanning approximately 35,000 square feet.
With private equity backing since late 2023, Elevate plans to open two to four new locations per year across the Valley. In addition to launching new parks, the company is also investing in upgrades to its current locations to enhance the guest experience and stay competitive in the rapidly growing indoor recreation market.
The expansion aligns with growing local demand for family-friendly entertainment options. Maricopa’s City Manager noted that the community is eager for “more entertainment, more things for kids to do and families to do.” The new Elevate location is expected to become a major draw for families and contribute to a more diverse mix of retail and recreational uses in the area.
From a commercial real estate perspective, Elevate’s developments—which typically span 25,000 square feet—have the potential to stimulate nearby commercial activity. These large, suburban-located venues increase foot traffic and often support the growth of surrounding businesses, including restaurants, fitness centers, and childcare providers. The Maricopa site, in particular, is situated in a growing entertainment and retail corridor that could see further mixed-use expansion as a result.
Although an opening date for the Maricopa location has not been confirmed, the project is progressing rapidly, with groundbreaking expected to occur later in 2025. As Elevate continues to expand, real estate professionals should closely monitor permitting activity and site acquisitions across the Valley, particularly in areas well-suited for adaptive reuse or ground-up development of large commercial spaces.
Elevate’s growth reflects the rising demand for destination-driven, experiential retail and entertainment. As the company continues its aggressive rollout, its presence will reshape suburban commercial landscapes across the Phoenix metro.
