MESA, Ariz., Oct. 18, 2022 – Arizona-based civil engineering firm EPS Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Principal Greg Froehlich, PE to Public Works Department Manager. Froehlich led the Public Works Department as Interim Manager over the past year and brings more than 25 years of experience in the design of rural and urban roadways throughout the state of Arizona.
“Greg stepped into the Department Manager role with enthusiasm and set his sights on positioning the department for future success,” said EPS Group CEO, Kathey Wagner. “He quickly established trust and respect from his team, increasing their effectiveness, while leveraging the traditions of what makes EPS Group a great firm.”
Founded in 2003, EPS Group provides civil engineering, planning, land development, surveying, water resource, landscape architecture and construction management services, with associates who are certified in 14 states across the country. EPS Group expertise ranges from major public works infrastructure to large-scale private developments.
During his tenure as Interim Manager, Froehlich fostered positive client relationships and grew his team while taking a personalized approach to meeting the needs of his associates. This helped lead the team to winning several new projects including Maricopa County Department of Transportation, Arizona Department of Transportation, State Park Projects, and the Town of Eagar On-Call Engineering Services. Froehlich is on pace to exceed 2022 department revenue and profit goals.
Prior to joining EPS Group, Froehlich graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a degree in Civil Engineering.
