FWC Supply Opens First Showroom & Distribution Space in Tucson Market
CBRE Negotiates 52,346-Square-Foot Industrial Lease in Tucson, Ariz.
Tucson, Ariz. – CBRE has negotiated the lease of a 52,346-square-foot industrial building at Midvale Park Commerce Center located at 6701 S. Midvale Park Rd. in Tucson, Ariz.
Bill Di Vito and Jesse Blum with CBRE’s Tucson office negotiated the lease on behalf of the landlord, 6701 S. Midvale Park LLC. Mesa, Ariz.-based FWC Suppy was represented by Dave Collins of COBE Real Estate.
“We have definitely seen user interest pickup significantly over the last few quarters. As our local economy continues to improve, major companies are looking at Tucson as a place to expand or locate,” said CBRE’s Di Vito. “FWC’s entrance into the market is a perfect example of this trend. Prior to this lease, the company was servicing Tucson out of metro Phoenix with anywhere from 5 to 10 trucks a day. It just made sense to expand to a physical location in the market.”
A leader in the plumbing supply company, FWC will utilize the space as a showroom and distribution center. This lease marks the company’s entrance into the Tucson market. The plumbing wholesaler, which is a member of the Farnsworth family of companies, anticipates hiring approximately 50 to 75 people for the 52,246-square-foot facility.
Built in 1983, the building is situated on 7.25 acres with proximity to the I-19 Freeway. The property features 20,000 square feet of two-story office space in addition to 32,346 square feet of warehouse space, providing FWC ample room for a product showroom as well as distribution facilities.
