IREM Greater Phoenix Chapter names 2023 Board, Advisory Council
PHOENIX, ARIZONA (Dec. 8, 2022) – The Greater Phoenix Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®), an international community of real estate managers dedicated to ethical business practices, has announced its 2023 Board of Directors and Advisory Council.
The 2023 Board of Directors comprises President, Ed Valerio, CPM®, Link Logistics Real Estate; President-Elect, Carrie Temple, CPM®, ViaWest Group; Secretary/Treasurer, Tom Coughlin, CPM®, Stream Realty Partners; Director,
Lauren Lacasse, CPM®, Everwest Property Services; and Past-President, Tyrel Williams, CPM®, ORION Investment Real Estate.
The Advisory Council includes Ann Boomsma, CPM®, MEB Management Services, AMO; Melissa Boyle, CPM®, Link Logistics Real Estate;
Rosalinda Bridges, CPM®, Greystar, AMO; Yvonne Cisman, CPM®, ARM®, Wasatch; Kristin Gibbons, CPM®, Everest Holdings; Debbie Mitten, CPM®, ViaWest Group; and Chianon Mutsiwegota, CPM®, Texas Capital Partners.
“I am thrilled to continue our leadership and succession planning into 2023 and beyond,” Valerio said. “We have big plans to offer industry leading programs and educational opportunities for our members and industry partners in the year to come. “I am so grateful for each person on the 2023 leadership team. Each of them brings a rich background and unique talents that are really going to help us move forward on several key initiatives for our chapter.”
The IREM Greater Phoenix Chapter completed a successful 2022, with numerous accomplishments to its credit. They include:
- 52 new members (10 CPM, 3 ARM, 2 ACoM, 25 candidates, and 12 associates;
- 17 scholarships awarded from the IREM Foundation;
- $10,000 raised for UMOM New Day Centers by the IREM/RestorationHQ Golf Tournament;
- 14 networking events, including the 2022 IREM/CCIM Economic Forecast.
“This has been a fantastic year for our chapter as we were able to cross the finish line with a few very key initiatives that have been in the works for several years. One of these being a well-defined leadership structure and succession plan that solidifies our foundation for future growth, and gives us the ability to get more of our amazing members involved in the success of our chapter,” said 2022 President Tyrel Williams.
“It’s so inspiring to me what a small group of determined, focused volunteer leaders can accomplish when we work together. Every member of our Board of Directors and their committee members played a huge role in helping advance our chapter this year. They all deserve to be commended for their dedication, and the heart they put into their roles,” Williams added.
The 2023 IREM/CCIM Economic Forecast is scheduled for January 26 at the Arizona Biltmore, 2400 E. Missouri Ave., in Phoenix. Registration is now open.
