Joint Pima County and City of Tucson job fair at Kino Event Center.

Pima County (January 3, 2024) - The Pima County Health Department will be hiring temporary program specialists and program coordinators to support its Border Health Program at a Jan. 5 hiring fair, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at Abrams Public Health Center, 3950 S. Country Club Road.

The Health Department hopes to fill 19 temporary positions in its Emergency Mitigation and Preparedness division to support the border operations, including intake, shelter operations support, and administering medical screening questionnaires.

These will be temporary, full-time positions, and include full Pima County benefits. All positions will be required to work weekends. Positions are currently planned to end in June 2024, but may be extended based on need and funding.

Those interested can apply online and plan to attend the Jan. 5 fair for an interview. Bring a resume and come prepared to discuss the openings. Those who do not apply online in advance will have their resumes screened by Pima County’s Human Resources Department prior to interviewing.
