Jeremy Sharpe Awarded CopperPoint Small Business Leader of the Year

Sahuarita, Ariz. – (October 11, 2024) – Jeremy Sharpe, Managing Partner of Rancho Sahuarita and President of Sharpe Development Group, has been named the 2024 CopperPoint Small Business Leader of the Year. The prestigious award, presented at the CopperPoint Copper Cactus Awards ceremony held on Friday, September 13, 2024, celebrates leaders who have made outstanding contributions to their companies and communities in Southern Arizona.

Sharpe’s leadership at Rancho Sahuarita, an award-winning master-planned community, has been instrumental in shaping the region. Under his guidance, Rancho Sahuarita continues to grow, offering residential, commercial, educational, and recreational spaces that foster a vibrant and connected lifestyle for more than 20,000 residents. His forward-thinking approach has set a standard for innovative, people-first development in Southern Arizona.

In addition to managing Rancho Sahuarita’s ongoing expansion, Sharpe has led numerous community-focused initiatives, including partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, the Town of Sahuarita, and more. He co-founded “Sahuarita WINS!”, a collaboration between education and business leaders to promote college and career readiness for students, and has been instrumental in various initiatives supporting the  Sahuarita Unified School District.
