Charity organization relocates, expands its well-known Valley operation
TEMPE, Arizona, (December 9, 2024) – The Phoenix office of JLL today announced it has completed a 34,187-square-foot lease that relocates and expands the Arizona location of Feed My Starving Children from Mesa to a new facility at 1100 W. Grove Parkway in Tempe.
The Minnesota-based charity organization currently operates eight U.S. locations where, with volunteer support, it packs and distributes meals to starving people in 112 countries around the world.
FMSC leased its first facility in Tempe in 2011. It relocated to the Mesa Fiesta District in 2015, where it nearly tripled its facility size to 25,000 square feet. FSMC continues to expand its Arizona footprint with its newly built facility near Elliot Road and Priest Drive in South Tempe, minutes from Interstate 10.
Mark Gustin, Jimmy Cornish and Emily Minnier of JLL represented the building owner, Providence Real Estate Group. Bryce Terveen of CBRE represented FMSC.
“We’re very pleased to welcome Feed My Starving Children to Tempe,” said Gustin. “This completely renovated building gives this highly respected organization modern advantages that will amplify its comfort, efficiency and results. The property is easily accessed via nearby I-10 and is within walking distance to more than 50 retail, restaurant and hospitality amenities.”
Additional features of the 1100 building include speculative office space, a fully air-conditioned warehouse, generous 5/1,000 parking, and six dock door positions.
FMSC completed its relocation to Tempe this month and is now fully operational in its new facility. To learn more about the organization, donate, or volunteer, visit fmsc.org.
