PHOENIX, ARIZ. (April 30, 2024) – Transact Commercial Interiors, a curator of comfortable, efficient, and well-engineered furniture, modular walls, and millwork, is pleased to announce that industry expert Julie Lewis has joined the firm as Director of Sales Strategy.
Lewis will guide, mentor, and drive sales performance in her new role by capitalizing on strategic alignments with Transact industry partners and manufacturers. Lewis will also work with the leadership team to achieve the firm’s business objectives and impact the company’s trajectory.
Lewis, a native of Chicago, joins Transact Commercial Interiors from Corporate Interior Systems (CIS), where she served as Senior Account Manager and Sales
Manager for more than 15 years. Lewis also worked at Facilitec as an Account Manager for 4 years.
“I've known Julie since I got into the industry and have always admired her and her work ethic,” said Transact President and CEO Craig Scarpone. “We have remained friends while being fierce competitors and always joked that we might work together one day. When I got that call, I knew right away she would be an amazing addition to our already outstanding team.”
Lewis brings an extensive sales leadership background to Transact. Her strengths include expanding, cultivating, and broadening crucial strategic partnerships. Her approach involves harnessing robust partner relationships, crafting compelling product value propositions, and reinforcing a customer-centric philosophy.
Lewis earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Lewis is active with industry groups AZCREW and the Greater Phoenix Chapter of IFMA. Away from the office, Lewis enjoys spending time with her young daughter and husband.
