Lightbridge Academy Planned at Northwest Tucson Industrial Property Sold for $2.5 Million

TUCSON, Arizona (Oct. 2, 2026) — VASAP LLC purchased the property at 7870 N. Leilani Lane for $2.5 million from REN Investments LLC, with plans for the tenant to operate a Lightbridge Academy early childhood education facility.

The transaction closed September 24, 2026. Built in 2019, the property contains approximately 15,000 square feet of improvements on approximately 70,599 square feet, or 1.62 acres, of land. The sale price equates to approximately $167 per square foot of improvements.

Debbie Heslop of VOLK Company represented the seller. Brandon Hiett and Emily Caron of MOHR Partners in Dallas represented the purchaser.

Located in the Continental Ranch area near Cortaro and Silverbell roads, the property will accommodate an early education and child care center serving families in northwest Tucson.

Lightbridge Academy offers infant and toddler care, preschool and prekindergarten programs, generally serving children from six weeks through five years old. Its proprietary Seedlings curriculum combines classroom learning with activities supporting language, physical, social and emotional development. Enrichment offerings include music, Spanish, sign language and yoga, with programs varying by location.

The company’s “Circle of Care” approach emphasizes relationships among children, parents, teachers and the surrounding community. Lightbridge Academy also offers technology intended to keep parents connected during the day, including a parent communication app and live classroom video access.

An opening date for the Leilani Lane facility has not been announced in the transaction information provided.
