TEMPE, ARIZONA – “Communities built on caring” is more than just a slogan at the three LivGenerations senior living, independent living, assisted living and memory care communities in the Valley.
Keeping residents well and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic is the top priority at LivGenerations Pinnacle Peak, Ahwatukee and Gilbert. From a wide variety of daily care to sponsoring events such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day drive-through parades, LivGenerations is keeping its residents well, safe and engaged by:
- Virtual classes and events;
- Meal delivery as well as social distancing fine dining;
- Grocery shopping/delivery;
- Temperature checks regularly;
- Masks being worn at all times;
- Wireless 24/7 emergency call system
- Designated telecommunication room for resident physician appointments;
- Dedicated task force committed to following Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and senior living guidelines.
“Scrolling through resident surveys recently, I found a positive and sincere comment from LivGenerations Pinnacle Peak that truly resonated with me,” said Sonya Paterno, Regional Director of Sales for LivGenerations. “The comment read:
“I will applaud the effort everyone has put in for us to get through this and the creativity used for virtual activities offered. This has been a once-in-a-lifetime event for all of us and the friendly, upbeat and reassuring attitude from all personnel has made a positive difference.”
LivGenerations has also received kudos from public health officials at it continues to keep its residents safe from the virus. LivGenerations Ahwatukee reached 1+ month (two full incubation timeframes for COVID-19) without transmission, according to Director of Nursing Belinda Radder.
“We truly appreciate all of your partnership throughout this exposure and we would ask that you remain vigilant in your infection control actions as COVID-19 continues to spread in our community,” wrote Kasey Busick, MPH, Epidemiology Data Analyst, Maricopa County Health. “Thank you for all of your hard work.”
LivGenerations Pinnacle Peak is a 110-unit independent living, assisted living and memory care apartment community. It opened in February at 23733 N. Scottsdale Road, in Scottsdale. Liv Communities has two additional senior living communities in the Valley.

The Mother’s Day drive-through parade was a successful event. It was followed by a Father’s Day drive-through parade in June. In September, LivGenerations will celebrate a Grandparent’s Day event.
