PIMA COUNTY (Oct. 9, 2026) — The Arizona Fall League, returning to Tucson on Oct. 10 for the first time since 2002, will feature four Major League Baseball prospects with local ties.
The doubleheader at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium will include four of the six teams in the Phoenix-area league, which showcases top prospects from all 30 Major League Baseball organizations.
Tickets are available now for both games. Kids 10 and under receive free admission with a ticketed adult.

Each of the four Arizona Fall League (AFL) teams includes a prospect with local ties:
- Infielder Demetrio Crisantes (Rafters) – The Nogales High School graduate is the Arizona Diamondbacks’ No. 1 prospect and No. 84 overall, according to MLB.com.
- Infielder Cade McGee (Javelinas) – Born in Tucson, McGee attended Salpointe Catholic High School and was a ninth-round pick of the St. Louis Cardinals in 2024.
- Outfielder Brendan Summerhill (Scorpions) – He was the 42nd overall pick in the 2025 draft after hitting .343 as a junior for the Arizona Wildcats in 2025.
- Infielder Mason White (Solar Sox) – The Salpointe Catholic graduate played three years at Arizona and ranks second in the Wildcats’ record book with 49 career home runs. He was a fourth-round pick of the Boston Red Sox in 2025.
Kino was scheduled to host an AFL tripleheader last October, but the event was canceled because of weather concerns related to Hurricane Priscilla.
Kino Sports Complex and new partner MQ360 Sports & Entertainment, a division of Mosaic Quarter, teamed up with the AFL this year to add Tucson to the league’s 2026 schedule.
“We’re especially thrilled to bring the Arizona Fall League to Kino in 2026,” said Kino Sports Complex Director Sarah Hanna. “Fans will get to see some of baseball’s top young talent right here in Tucson, including prospects from Major League organizations they follow throughout the season.”
Fans can check the AFL website to see which organizations will have prospects playing in Tucson. They include the Diamondbacks, Yankees, Cubs, Red Sox and more.
Arizona baseball head coach Chip Hale will throw out the first pitch before Game 2.
“The Arizona Fall League is excited to be back in Tucson this year to showcase the baseball-rich environment,” said Chuck Fox, director of the Arizona Fall League. “With the University of Arizona across town and multiple alumni building toward the next steps of their careers, we can’t wait to showcase some of baseball’s top prospects to fans.”
Last year’s AFL participants included Detroit Tigers shortstop Kevin McGonigle, who emerged as the leading candidate for the 2026 American League Rookie of the Year award. Notable alumni include Ronald Acuña Jr., Bryce Harper, Aaron Judge and Mike Trout.
The AFL season began Oct. 3 in the Phoenix area.
