Macritchie Buys Land for Multi-Tenant Industrial Outdoor Storage in Rita Ranch Commerce Center

TUCSON, AZ (August 14, 2024) — Macritchie bought 15 acres of industrial land at 9603 E Rita Commerce Drive, at the Rita Ranch Commerce Center in Tucson, for $1,945,518 ($2.94 PSF) to develop a multi-tenant industrial outdoor storage facility for contractor yard use.

This will be Macritchie’s third location in Arizona, with the other two in Phoenix.

The company develops and acquires attractive or undersupplied, unconsolidated specialty real estate assets, including self-storage, RV storage, multitenant industrial outdoor storage, and RV resorts.

The company was attracted to the site partly because of its proximity to Lowe’s and Home Depot and its convenience to contractors working in this fast-growing area of Tucson.

The seller, an affiliate of Diamond Ventures (Bill Kelley, CFO), was represented by Jesse Blum, SIOR, and Paul Hooker, SIOR, Principals, Industrial Specialists with Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR.

Ron Zimmerman of Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR originally listed and had the property in escrow before he passed away in 2022. However, that deal fell through and was brought back this year, with the selling brokers’ commission donated to Ron’s estate by his PICOR colleagues.
