Phoenix – CBRE is pleased to announce that Mari Lederman has joined the firm’s Phoenix office. Ms. Lederman will partner with Kate Morris, Vince Femiano and Katie Kelley as part of the Phoenix Healthcare Services team. The team’s focus is assisting healthcare landlords and tenants with site selection, lease negotiations, marketing, investment sales, and strategic planning. Ms. Lederman will focus her attention on the needs of the team’s larger physician group clients, ambulatory care providers and specialized users like surgical centers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mari to the CBRE team. Her unique combination of experience and her relationships in the healthcare industry make her a valuable addition to our Healthcare Services team,” said Cathy Teeter, CBRE’s Director of Sales for the Southwest Region. “As the Valley strives to be a leader in the healthcare industry, we will be well positioned to help clients with their unique medical real estate needs.”

Ms. Lederman comes to brokerage after a distinguished 10-year career in architecture, in which she specialized in healthcare-related projects. She has been involved in more than 600,000 square feet of medical projects, including a hospital expansion and several ambulatory care centers, among others.

“Mari is the perfect compliment to our already strong team of healthcare real estate professionals. We are so proud to call her a partner,” said CBRE’s Kate Morris. “Her background in medical building design and development gives her significant insight into how to bring healthcare tenants and landlords together in a way that ensures success on both sides, ultimately guaranteeing a patient experience that results in the best possible care.”

In addition to her professional experience, Ms. Ledermen has spent more than 15 years giving of her personal time to a variety of philanthropic organizations in the Valley. She has held numerous chairmanship, leadership and board positions with organizations including Make-A-Wish Foundation, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Florence Crittenton, Las Palomas, The American Cancer Society and Arizona Children’s Society.
