PHOENIX, ARIZONA  – NAI Horizon represented the landlord, ViaWest Group, in a long-term lease for a national distributor of construction equipment, packaging machines, tools, and supplies at Airport48 Industrial, a Class A industrial building expected to deliver later this year.

NAI Horizon Senior Vice President Isy Sonabend and Agent Drew Eisen represented VWP 48th Street Owner, LLC (ViaWestGroup), in the long-term lease worth $7.97 million. SouthernCarlson will occupy 65,008 SF of the turnkey building, which will total 146,526 SF upon completion.

Airport48, 3232 S. 48th St., in Phoenix, will be constructed on 10 acres of industrial-zoned land. The state-of-the-art warehouse is located on one of the last remaining infill land sites in Central Phoenix, just minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

“We are pleased to welcome SouthernCarlson, as the first tenant at Airport48,” Sonabend said. “This location provides quick access to the entire Phoenix freeway grid, as well as direct entrance to Sky Harbor International Airport, an important element of SouthernCarlson’s requirement.”

The central location of Airport48 and its proximity to the freeway system through a full diamond interchange will provide logistics-based companies convenient access to

all points in the Metro Phoenix market. It will also provide same-day drive times to key Western markets such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, and Albuquerque.

Joshua Wyss of Cushman & Wakefield represented SouthernCarlson.
