NEW YORK, N.Y. – NAI Global President and CEO Jay Olshonsky, FRICS, CCIM, SIOR, announced the firm’s 2021 Top Producers that featured the top 125 agents – including a pair of NAI Horizon professionals who experienced one of the best production years of their careers in 2021.

Collectively, NAI Global’s top 125 agents, representing the top 2 percent of NAI Global’s more than 5,100 agents worldwide, generated more than $250 million in gross commissions and fees.

NAI Horizon Executive Managing Director Denise Nunez was No. 70. Nunez, who formed the Nunez Self-Storage Group in 2015, was also the Top Producer for 2021 at NAI Horizon. While she transacted deals in Illinois, California, and Texas, one of her significant deals was the $17.5 million investment sale of a self-storage and RV facility in Gilbert Arizona. Nunez closed more than $140 million in deals in 2021.

NAI Horizon Executive Managing Director Isy Sonabend, an industrial property specialist, was No. 111 on the list. Sonabend was No. 2 Top Producer for NAI Horizon in 2021 with one of his most significant deals of 2021. He represented Carvana in the $25 million purchase of 148 acres in Surprise, Arizona.

Several of those transactions were completed in partnership with other NAI firms.

“I am proud of Denise and Isy and their accomplishments in the industry,” said NAI Horizon CEO/Designated Broker Terry Martin-Denning. “Their dedication and commitment to client service excellence and professionalism are key to their success.”

The top 125 specialize in office, industrial, retail, data centers and self-storage properties in both leasing and sales and come from 85 primary markets, 20 major markets, 12 secondary markets and 10 tertiary markets from dozens of cities in more than 20 states. Seven of the top 125 were from Europe. There were also 23 teams recognized for what in many cases were record years for the teams.

“In the second year of a global pandemic, seeing such record production for so many of our professionals was almost unthinkable as 2021 began, we could not be happier for last year’s achievements by the men and women on our 2021 Top Producers list,” Olshonsky said.

Scott Mertz, SIOR, with NAI Mertz in the Philadelphia and New Jersey markets, was NAI Global’s top producer overall.
