PHOENIX, ARIZ. (Jan. 7, 2025) – The Arizona Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, elected officers and board members for 2025.

The 2025 Executive Committee of NAIOP Arizona includes Phil Breidenbach, SIOR, Colliers, Board Chair; Derek Flottum, VanTrust Real Estate, Vice Chair; Jenna Borcherding, VanTrust Real Estate, Programs Chair; Mike Olsen, Globe Corporation, Treasurer; and John Orsak, Lincoln Property Company, Immediate Past Chair.

The new officers will lead the Arizona chapter, which is the fifth largest NAIOP chapter among 55 in the U.S. and Canada with 1,107 members.

“It’s a privilege to lead NAIOP Arizona as 2025 Chair. Congratulations to outgoing chair John Orsak, our board, staff, and sponsors for making 2024 a success. Our members are grateful for your leadership and hard work,” Breidenbach said. “The commercial real estate industry is rapidly evolving. Unprecedented growth, key resource sustainability, political pressure, and everchanging markets continue to challenge our business, but together NAIOP members have the talent, perseverance, and resources to turn challenges into opportunities to grow their businesses, enhance their careers, and thrive as an industry.

“We see 2025 as a year of continued growth and prosperity for commercial real estate in Arizona. The NAIOP Arizona Board and I are honored to play a part in that success,” Breidenbach added.”

Beginning their first 3-year term are Tim Chester, Wentworth Property Company; Adrian Evarkiou, The Boyer Company; Cathy Teeter, CBRE; and Korey Wilkes, Butler Design Group. Josh Tracy with Ryan Companies US, Inc. will serve as the ex-officio representative for the Developing Leaders in 2025.

Several of NAIOP Arizona’s long-time board members roll off at the end of 2024. Cathy Thuringer, Trammell Crow Company, served as Board Chair in 2023 and previously as Treasurer. Jeff Moloznik, RED Development, co-chaired the organization’s comedy show, Thursday Night Live, for several consecutive years. Kate Morris, Transwestern, chaired the Education Committee, and CJ Osbrink, Newmark, chaired Best of NAIOP and co-chaired Thursday Night Live. Tim Colquhoun, National Bank of Arizona, completed his one-year term as the Developing Leader representative on the Board of Directors.

“We’ve just completed a remarkable year for our association. NAIOP remains strong as we implement bold new initiatives to serve our members better,” said NAIOP Arizona President and CEO Suzanne Kinney. “Thanks to the active involvement of our incredible Board of Directors we can deliver best-in-class educational programming, public policy advocacy, and premier events.”
