New Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) Oro Valley Sells in Sale-Leaseback Investment for $4.4M

New animal hospital keeps people with their pets

TUCSON, AZ (August 23, 2024) — A new 24/7 veterinary emergency room at 7080 N Oracle Rd, Tucson, that allows pet owners to stay with their dogs, cats, birds, and other beloved animals through all stages of treatment, including surgery and overnight hospitalization has sold as a net-leased sale. The asset sold for $4,367,414 ($691.70 PSF) in a sale-leaseback.

VEG purchased the 6,314-square-foot former Wells Fargo bank branch in November 2022 for $2,550,000 for conversion.

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) provides families in Tucson and neighboring cities with 24/7 emergency care in veterinary medicine, including surgeries, ultrasounds, x-rays, and more.

This is the third VEG hospital in Arizona, and the other two are in Phoenix and Chandler.

Licensed veterinarians will always be available for pet emergencies, even on holidays, and answer the phones to respond to medical questions.

The facility also immediately begins to care for pets when they come in the door instead of after their owners fill out paperwork.

The company also gives back to the community through VEG Cares, an initiative benefiting “underserved pets in crisis,” and supports future emergency veterinarians by granting student scholarships.
