NexMetro Purchases $3.1 Million Parcel in Goodyear

Buyer Plans to Develop 192-Unit Avilla Centerra Crossing on Site

Phoenix, Arizona – Colliers International in Greater Phoenix has negotiated the $3.1 million ($4.19 PSF) sale of a 16.97-acre parcel at the southeast corner of Van Buren Road and Estrella Parkway in Goodyear.  The buyer plans to develop a multifamily project on the site.

Chaz Smith, John Finnegan and Ramey Peru of Colliers International in Greater Phoenix negotiated the sale.  NexMetro Development LLC (Josh Hartman, Executive Vice President and Brian Rosenbaum) purchased the parcel from Goodyear Estrella LLZC (Alex and Danny Kurlan).

NexMetro plans to develop an Avilla community, which will be the company’s second multifamily project in Goodyear.  “NexMetro fills a unique niche in the development field, creating hybrid leased new-home options that combine the luxury of home ownership with the freedom of a lease,” says Smith.

The gated community will be named Avilla Centerra Crossing.  The modern, stylish new homes will feature open floor plans, 10-foot ceilings and high-end finishes.  Private entrances and backyards offer the privacy normally afforded in new home properties.  The community is also planned to include a resort-style pool and spa, covered seating, barbeque areas, and grassy open spaces, as well as a tot lot and dog park.  The community will be pet-friendly and offer reserved, covered parking and garages.
