Western Retail Advisors Opens Tucson Office to serve Growing Arizona Retail Market

Western Retail AdvisorsNames Nancy McClure Senior Vice President & Southern Arizona Market Leader

TUCSON, ARIZONA, (June 18, 2026) – Phoenix-based retail brokerage specialist Western Retail Advisors (WRA) has announced the opening of a Tucson office, further expanding the firm’s long-standing Arizona presence. The office will be led by Nancy McClure, who joins Western Retail Advisors as Senior Vice President & Southern Arizona Market Leader.

McClure brings decades of retail real estate experience to the firm, including more than 36 years with CBRE, where she built a distinguished career representing landlords, local and national retailers, and investment clients throughout Tucson and Southern Arizona.

The new WRA Tucson office will support the firm’s tenant and landlord representation, restaurant and entertainment leasing, specialty leasing, and investment sales services.

“Western Retail Advisors is built on firsthand retail experience, local market knowledge and established relationships. Opening a dedicated Tucson office with a proven local leader like Nancy puts that philosophy into action,” said Western Retail Advisors Founding Partner Eric Termansen. “Nancy is the ideal person to guide our Southern Arizona presence as Tucson continues to grow as a compelling market for retail tenants, landlords and investors.”

Throughout her career, McClure has played a significant role in the evolution of Tucson’s retail landscape. This includes countless repositioning successes, such as “de-malling” a 1.1 million-square-foot core-plus center into a super power center, and the recruitment of dynamic retailers and restaurants that continue to draw consumers to Southern Arizona’s shopping destinations.

By merging national retail trends with local nuances, McClure has helped landlords strengthen property performance, guided tenants in brand building, and connected buyers and sellers to drive successful closings.

“Western Retail Advisors has an exceptional reputation for its retail expertise, collaboration and client service,” said McClure. “I am excited to join the firm and help expand its presence at a time when Southern Arizona is seeing such meaningful growth, strong retail demand and continued opportunity.”

In addition to her brokerage accomplishments, McClure serves as a member of the Tucson Airport Authority, on The University of Arizona Eller College of Management National Board of Advisors, and is involved with Women Leading Southern Arizona, Charter 100 and other community organizations. She has been named an AZ Big Media Most Influential Woman and an Inside Tucson Business Woman of Influence.

Sun State Builders Goes Vertical on 450,000-Square-Foot Industrial Project New Phoenix warehouse under construction

PHOENIX (June 19, 2026) —  Sun State Builders tilts concrete walls on a new 450,000-square-foot Class A warehouse in Phoenix. Pasternack Properties contracted the design-build general contractor to bring the $26.5 million industrial spec project to life. The industrial building is located at the Southeast corner of 83rd Avenue and Interstate 10.

Sun State Builders broke ground on the project in early March and is targeting construction completion in December 2026. Designed by Pasternack Properties’ architectural team, the building is a cross-dock warehouse geared toward companies that need quick turnaround times for product transport.

“Pasternack’s development team is well-positioned with this infill parcel to capitalize on the high demand for industrial space in the Phoenix area. There isn’t a better location for a large cross-dock distribution facility,” states Mike Forst, CEO of Sun State Builders.

The state-of-the-art building features 40’ clear height and 71 docks. It’s an all-concrete design with no asphalt on site.

“We are grateful to be chosen as Pasternack’s Builder for this high-profile project, bringing a very competitive cost and reliable timeline to their development plans. The building will be highly useful to its logistics or manufacturing users, and a productive asset for the community and Pasternack,” adds Forst.

Leasing is expected to begin at the end of 2026. Marc Hertzberg, executive managing director for the Arizona industrial group at JLL, and brokers Rylie Gilbert and Tony Lydon will handle leasing.

Sun State Builders is headquartered in Tempe, with an office at 1050 W. Washington Street, Suite 214. The design-build general contractor has a portfolio of construction projects, including large commercial ground-up builds and tenant improvements.
