Tucson, AZ (October 16, 2025) — Ballet Tucson is honored to announce a transformative $100,000 gift from the Reinhaus Family Foundation, a significant increase from their previous support. This generous funding will directly strengthen Ballet Tucson’s education and scholarship initiatives, ensuring that more young dancers in Southern Arizona have access to high-quality ballet training and opportunities to pursue their artistic dreams.

The Reinhaus Family Foundation was founded by Stanley M. Reinhaus who attended UA College of Pharmacy. The foundation focuses on providing scholarships to pharmacy college students and grants to further educational opportunities. The Reinhaus Family Foundation’s commitment comes at a pivotal time as Ballet Tucson expands its reach to serve more students through its School of Ballet Tucson, community outreach programs including Best Foot Forward, and need-based scholarships. With this increased investment, Ballet Tucson will be able to broaden access for aspiring dancers who might otherwise face financial barriers to training, performance opportunities, and mentorship from professional artists.

“The Reinhaus Family Foundation’s extraordinary generosity reflects our shared belief in the power of the arts to transform lives,” said Margaret Mullin, Artistic Director of Ballet Tucson. “This support allows us to expand scholarships and enhance our educational programming, helping us nurture the next generation of dancers and arts leaders. As an alumna of The School of Ballet Tucson and a former financial aid student, this is very meaningful to me, and I am tremendously grateful to the Reinhaus Family Foundation for their support

Hector Correles, Vice President with The Reinhaus Family Foundation shares, “The Reinhaus Family Foundation proudly supports Ballet Tucson because we believe in the power of the arts to enrich our community, inspire creativity, and elevate cultural excellence. Ballet Tucson’s commitment to the arts and education aligns with our values and vision for a vibrant, inclusive future for Tucson and Southern Arizona.”

The Reinhaus Family Foundation’s expanded investment in Ballet Tucson ensures that the joy and discipline of ballet remain accessible to all, enriching the Tucson community for years to come.
