Paramium Technologies Graduates from UACI, Expands Operations at UA Tech Park

Paramium TechnologiesTUCSON, Ariz. (July 31, 2026) — Paramium Technologies, an innovative startup building a global ground station network to streamline satellite communications, is graduating from the University of Arizona Center for Innovation (UACI), which serves as the science and technology startup incubator network of Tech Parks Arizona, and expanding into the UA Tech Park.

Founded in 2019 by University of Arizona researcher Dr. Justin Hyatt, Paramium commercialized patented manufacturing technologies licensed through Tech Launch Arizona. The company’s proprietary platform enables the rapid, cost-effective production of high-precision metal components, including its patented Magnum™ antenna reflectors.

In 2024, Paramium expanded into Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS), using its manufacturing capabilities to build scalable satellite ground infrastructure and help meet growing demand for data downlink capacity.

“The space industry urgently needs more ground infrastructure to keep pace with the explosion of data being generated in orbit,” said Dr. Justin Hyatt, founder and CEO of Paramium Technologies. “Our vision is to make ground station connectivity as seamless and reliable as cloud computing by combining advanced manufacturing with a rapidly deployable network of Earth stations.”

While working with UACI, Paramium refined its technology, evolved its business model, and prepared for market entry with the support of the incubator’s mentorship, facilities, and entrepreneurial programming. The company’s expansion into the UA Tech Park marks an important milestone in its growth and highlights the role of Arizona’s innovation ecosystem in helping promising startups become market-ready technology companies.

This transition illustrates the unique strength of the Tech Parks Arizona innovation ecosystem. Because UACI and the UA Tech Park operate under the same Tech Parks Arizona umbrella, companies can move seamlessly from startup development and innovation to growth and scaled operations while remaining within a connected support system. This integrated model reflects the University of Arizona’s land grant mission by supporting businesses at every stage of their journey, from research and development and market readiness to business expansion, job creation, investment attraction, and sustained economic impact.

“The journey for Paramium Technologies from startup to scaling company showcases the power of Southern Arizona’s innovation ecosystem,” expressed Carol Stewart, CEO of Tech Parks Arizona and President of the University of Arizona Center for Innovation. “Our goal is not simply to launch companies but to help them grow. Paramium’s success demonstrates how homegrown innovation can become a driver of economic growth, high-quality jobs, and global competitiveness right here in Arizona.”

Paramium’s growth from university research to a thriving technology company illustrates how innovation, entrepreneurial talent, and strategic support can advance tech businesses while strengthening Arizona’s innovation economy.
