Peoria, Ariz. (June 25, 2024) – Haven Townhomes at P83 in Peoria recently added electric vehicle (EV) chargers to each resident garage to make the community more ecofriendly.

The community, managed by Bryten Real Estate Partners, installed 163 Wallbox Pulsar Plus charging stations in every detached garage for convenience and sustainability.

The Wallbox Pulsar Plus charger they selected is compatible with all electric vehicles and offers fast EV charging at home. Haven Townhomes at P83 believes this will make their community more desirable and help set them apart from other multifamily communities that only offer two or three EV charging stations for the entire community. Shared charging stations are often far from residents homes, making it inconvenient for EV owners to charge their cars. Haven Townhomes at P83 is making energy efficiency easier and more accessible for all EV owners.

“EV chargers in every resident garage provides convenience for our residents while helping our environment,” says Ben Leybovich, Principal of WhiteHaven. “Even though Haven Townhomes at P83 opened in 2007, we are always looking at ways to improve our community by listening to what our residents want and finding new ways to innovate with cutting edge technology like EV charging stations.”

EV charging is one of many ways Haven Townhomes at P83 focuses on environmental efficiency. The community also incorporates low-flow plumbing, high-efficiency appliances, and energy-efficient lighting.

Bryten also prioritizes sustainability within its company. The Bryten Sustainability Committee was designed to address environmental issues and find solutions by adapting sustainability practices for all their multifamily properties. Their goal is to make environmentalism easier and cheaper so residents and property owners are more likely to choose sustainable living.

“We are constantly exploring ways to reduce our carbon footprint and minimize environmental impact in multifamily housing,” said Bryten Vice President of Operations, Amity Dalton. “EV charging is still quite scarce in many communities and individual charging stations are even more rare. Haven Townhomes at P83 is a great example of how we are making communities more ecofriendly.”

Haven Townhomes at P83 offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment townhomes with six floorplan options. In addition to the new EV chargers, amenities also include a 24-hour fitness center, pool and spa, pedestrian and bike path, business center, coffee bar, picnic areas, and more.
