Pima County & City of Tucson Development Services’ Customer Advisory during COVID-19 Challenge

TUCSON, ARIZONA — Non-essential government services around the state have been asked to close during this phase of the COVID-19 challenge and work digitally. Pima County Development Services has sent out the following CUSTOMER ADVISORY Wednesday:

We thank you for your business and we want to support you during this challenging time. Although most of our stakeholder meetings have been postponed, the Planning and Zoning Commission is still scheduled for this month. The meeting may be held in a telephonic environment. Please consult the calendar on our website for up to date information concerning our public hearings, Boards of Adjustment and SDRC.

It is our priority to protect our customers and staff health while continuing to deliver a high level of service. At this time, Pima County Development Services is maintaining normal permitting operations and services but would discourage in person visits to the DSD offices at 201 N. Stone Ave, first floor. All services can be conducted on line and we have staff positioned remotely and in the office ready to serve you.

Call or email us your questions or service request and a staff member will get back to you. A Department directory is on the website at https://webcms.pima.gov/government/development_services/. You can always submit plans on line, apply for permits, and make online credit card payments. We also encourage you to use Skype inspections rather than request an onsite inspector. We will be offering more appointment times.

For building permit submittals, please use our online portal at https://web1.pima.gov/applications/building%20permit/. If you have any questions regarding building permits, please email us at BuildingPermit@pima.gov or call us at 724-6490.
