Pima County Health Department to Launch New Services at Northwest Service Center

PIMA COUNTY (May 21, 2025) – The Pima County Health Department is expanding its reach by relocating several key programs to the County’s new Northwest Service Center (NWSC), located at 1010 W. Miracle Mile, over the coming weeks.
The move will bring the Consumer Health and Food Safety program, Vital Records, and the North Clinic to the new location, enhancing access to essential public health services in Tucson’s 85705 zip code.
“This particular area has consistently shown a need for services we provide—from birth certificates to food permits,” said Dr. Theresa Cullen, Director of the Pima County Health Department. “We’re excited to bring these resources closer to residents who need them.”
The relocation schedule is as follows:
-
Consumer Health and Food Safety will begin operations at NWSC on June 4
-
Vital Records will follow on June 17
-
The North Clinic will close its current location on June 12 and reopen at NWSC in July
For details on closures and hours for all of these programs at all of their locations, please see the flyer posted on the health department webpage or visit the programs’ webpage.
“These changes are part of our ongoing effort to improve community health and expand access to care,” Cullen added.
The three programs will join existing services already located at the Northwest Service Center, including Community & Workforce Development’s One-Stop Center and Pima Early Education Program scholarships.
