Pima County’s Procurement Department will be one of more than two dozen government agencies participating in the 11th Annual Reverse Trade Show this month at the Hotel Tucson City Center, 475 N. Granada Ave. in downtown Tucson.

The Reverse Trade Show, sponsored by the local Copper Chapter of the Institute for Public Procurement, offers companies looking to land public procurement contracts a chance to make contact with dozens of departments in one location at one time. Buyers stay in their booths while potential vendors roam freely through the event hall, meeting with agency representatives and marketing their company’s products and services.

The event also offers opportunities to network with hundreds of local and regional businesses and access to resources from various chambers of commerce as well as training sessions and information on enterprise programs and how to do business with government agencies. Participants also will receive the 2018 Edition of the NIGP Copper Chapter Procurement Professionals Directory, which provides contact names for the agencies.

This year’s keynote speaker will be University of Arizona Professor Paul Melendez, founder of the Center for Leadership Ethics at the Eller College of Management.

The Reverse Trade Show runs 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19. Register online or on-site the day of the show.
