Phoenix, Arizona – CBRE announced that Skybridge Arizona has preleased its first hangar to a private jet operator in Mesa, Ariz.
CBRE’s Jackie Orcutt, Kevin Cosca and Pete Wentis represented the developer in the 10,286-square-foot lease transaction.
SkyBridge is the first developer to build a speculative, multi-tenant hangar at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport in 25 years. Located at 6341 S. Downwind Circle, Skybridge Arizona is a 435-acre multi-use gateway development that is adjacent to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
“SkyBridge is the first developer to build a speculative, multi-tenant hangar at Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport in over 25 years,” said Orcutt. “It showcases their confidence in this expanding and evolving market.”
The 81,226-square-foot hangar will deliver this month and has availability to accommodate tenants between 10,000-square-feet and up to 70,000-square-feet. SkyBridge will start construction on the next Phase of development this quarter, which is slated to deliver more than 500,000-square-feet of speculative, Class A industrial and manufacturing buildings this year.
"SkyBridge Arizona is excited to welcome the first tenant to our development, to PHX-Mesa Gateway Airport, and to the City of Mesa,” said SkyBridge Managing Partner Felipe Monroy. “They will be the first of many aeronautically-focused tenants to come.”
