Rita Road Cannabis Cultivation Center Sells for $6.48 Million

TUCSON, Arizona (Sept. 2, 2026) — Union Financial Management Services LP of Tucson and additional purchasers acquired the Rita Road Cultivation Center at 8000 S. Rita Road in southeast Tucson for $6.48 million. The seller was Jensen Investments LLC of Ankeny, Iowa.

The transaction closed August 25, 2026. The purchase price equates to approximately $163.12 per square foot for the 39,726 square feet of improvements.

Built in 2019, the metal industrial facility occupies a site of 15.74 acres in the Rita Ranch area. Its warehouse and office space were designed and built for indoor medical marijuana cultivation and production.

The facility was developed as part of the Tucson Cannabis Campus. In an October 2019 project update, Tucson contractor Kappcon reported completing an indoor cultivation center of approximately 40,000 square feet in partnership with David Shambach and George Roop.
