Rusty Kennedy Joins CBRE’s Industrial Capital Markets team in Phoenix

PHOENIX – (January 30, 2024) – CBRE announced that Rusty Kennedy has joined its Industrial & Logistics Capital Markets team in Phoenix as an executive vice president, specializing in investor sales and development advisory services.

Mr. Kennedy’s addition to CBRE’s National Partners team further strengthens its network in the West. Over the past 12 years, the National Partners team has transacted $239 billion in sales and $60 billion in financing for its 900-plus clients, establishing itself as a leading industrial and logistics platform. With nearly 100 team members strategically located in key logistics hubs across the U.S., CBRE’s National Partners practice provides its clients with comprehensive investment sales, finance, and recapitalization solutions.

Before joining CBRE, Mr. Kennedy served as the Managing Director for Stream Realty’s Industrial division in Phoenix, where he was responsible for leading the strategic direction of the firm’s industrial business in the Phoenix metro area. Before that, he spent more than 15 years at CBRE in Phoenix, specializing in industrial landlord and tenant representation across the Valley.

Mr. Kennedy’s impressive credentials also include serving as the chairman of NAIOP’s Arizona Chapter in 2022, membership in the Super Bowl LVII Host committee, a Board membership of the AZ Sports & Tourism Authority, and membership of the Phoenix Thunderbirds. Prior to his career in commercial real estate, he competed on the Gateway and Canadian professional golf tours.
