Ryan Shirley Joins BRD Realty, Will Lead Leasing and Renewals on 500-Plus-Unit Catalyst Portfolio Alongside Max Fisher

Former University of Arizona fullback and NAI Horizon broker brings a decade of HVAC experience and a data- and AI-driven approach to Tucson commercial brokerage

TUCSON, Ariz. (October 26, 2026) — BRD Realty, LLC today announced that Ryan Shirley has joined the firm as a commercial real estate agent.

Shirley will focus on leasing and selling office and retail properties throughout Tucson as he works to grow BRD Realty’s brokerage beyond industrial and warehousing.

Shirley played fullback for the University of Arizona. Before entering commercial real estate, he spent more than a decade in the HVAC industry. He began his brokerage career at NAI Horizon.

“Ryan played fullback at the U of A, the most rugged position on the field, and he brings more than a decade of HVAC experience prior to his commercial real estate career at NAI Horizon,” said Fisher. “I’m excited to have Ryan join us at BRD. He’s bringing blue-collar work ethic and critical thinking skills to brokerage. He’s also dialed in on modern technology and data, which I’m excited to pair with our market experience.”

Shirley’s hands-on knowledge of building systems gives BRD Realty an added edge. Deals often stall when a broker can’t speak to HVAC, electrical, plumbing or other building systems. Shirley can advise business park and building owners on those issues directly, helping keep transactions moving at a smooth pace.

Shirley joins Fisher as the team takes on leasing and renewals for the former Equus portfolio, recently purchased by Catalyst for $165,750,000. The portfolio totals approximately 1,245,000 square feet across more than 500 warehouse, R&D, retail and office units throughout Tucson.
