Tempe, AZ (December 3, 2024) – SCS Engineers, an award-winning environmental consulting firm, is expanding the firm's Phoenix, Arizona office staff to meet the growing demand for sustainable environmental engineering services. Joining SCS is Coreyn Roman, who supports the region’s municipalities and businesses by providing solutions that safeguard the environment.
Today's commercial real estate transactions must consider environmental issues. Complex laws can impose significant environmental liabilities on purchasers, sellers, and lenders, whether or not they caused the problem or still own the property.
Roman conducts Phase I and Phase II environmental investigations and compliance assistance. She also supports monitoring landfills and preparing environmental reports, and provides services in other areas as well such as with stormwater and industrial compliance. She brings years of experience as an environmental scientist, project scientist, and environmental services director at Phoenix and New York City firms. Roman earned a Bachelor of Science in Geoscience from the City University of New York and a Master of Science in Geoscience from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She is a certified environmental specialist and a registered environmental manager.
