Anthony Ruiz

Phoenix, Arizona – SVN Desert Commercial Advisors is a top brokerage firm in the state of Arizona. With an estimated population of 7.3M people living in Arizona, there is so much opportunity for small business owners who are looking to find a place to call home away from home. SVN will now be able to offer commercial real estate services to Spanish-speaking small business owners. Anthony Ruiz is bilingual in both English and Spanish and will be focusing on helping the small business Latino community with their commercial real estate needs.

Anthony just recently joined and is now a member of the AZ Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He has been helping small business owners identify locations for their retail/restaurant space requirements. Over the last couple of months, Ruiz has closed 5 lease transactions as the exclusive tenant representative for the business owners.  The city of Peoria just welcomed their newest business, Azuquita which is home of the Concha Ice Cream Sandwich in Phoenix.  You can visit their new location on the southwest corner of 75th Ave & Peoria. Some of their top sellers include Gansito Sundae, Mazapan Frappe and Abuelita Iced Mocha. “I look forward to being able to connect more dots for business owners and organizations! If business is all about relationships and who you know, then it only makes sense to be a part of the AZ Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to bring my relationships and theirs together to move the Latino business community forward,” said Ruiz. In just the last couple months Ruiz has also found the space for other retailers such as Turbo Express, Desert Drinks & Exotics, Boost Mobile to name a few.

Ruiz stated, “For me, it means a lot to give back to my community. My grandfather tried when he was younger to open his own tailor shop but to no availability. I've spent the past 5 years working in some capacity with the Latino business community and have seen the struggles they go through, many times with building ownership and deal terms.”  Ruiz works to find commercial space for small businesses all over the valley.  “I help push my community forward by helping get deals done with favorable terms, as well as helping them get access to locations that they may have not been able to, or didn't have the resources to get into certain plazas. This is something I would love to build my legacy on,” said Ruiz.  He is a commercial real estate advisor that not only is building the legacy for himself in the memory of the challenges his grandfather faced, but also trying to help build the legacy for many other business owners in the Latino community.
