NAI Horizon negotiates long-term lease for Planet Fitness at Estrella Town Center in Phoenix

PHOENIX, ARIZONA – NAI Horizon negotiated a long-term lease for Planet Fitness at Estrella Town Center in Phoenix.
With this deal, NAI Horizon has negotiated long-term leases in the past year totaling more than $21 million for Planet Fitness locations across the Valley.
The NAI Horizon retail properties team of Senior Vice Presidents Chris Gerow, Shelby Tworek, Gabe Ortega, and Associate Patrick Anthon represented the tenant, United PF TOM LLC of Austin, Texas, in the Phoenix transaction totaling $1.387 million.
“This is a strategic infill location that links three other clubs in the area, giving Planet the best market coverage of any health club,” Gerow said.
The Phoenix Planet Fitness, 7620 W. Lower Buckeye Rd., will occupy 15,750-square-feet at Estrella Town Center. The developer is working at securing other tenants in the adjacent 13 acres.
The landlord, HH-Estrella, LLC of Phoenix was represented by Tim Westfall of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.

NAI Horizon negotiated a long-term lease on behalf of the landlord of a free-standing building in Mesa that serves as a flexible workplace center with executive suites. NAI Horizon Senior Vice Presidents Laurel Lewis; Barbara Lloyd, CCIM; and Lane Neville represented Old Town Val Vista LLC in leasing the 59,418-square-foot building at 3707 E. Southern Ave., in Mesa. The former movie theater was converted to Class A office space in 2006. The tenant, Regus, offers shared office environments in locations across the world.

“The landlord’s forward thinking at the time of renovation provided a perfect environment for Regus to fill a need for desk space in a thriving Mesa community,” Lewis said. The property is located at Southern and Val Vista, an area in Mesa that is undergoing a transformation. It is just off the US60 with close proximity to both the loops 101 and 202 freeways.
INDUSTRIAL – 15330 N HAYDEN RD., SCOTTSDALE
Rick Borane of Volk Company in Tucson represented Kierland Leather LLC in its lease of 16,968-square-feet at 15330 North Hayden Road, Suite 100, in Scottsdale. The landlord was Hayden 115, LLC and was represented by Michael Kitlica of Cushman & Wakefield.

A lease for 2,600-square-feet in El Dorado Crossing to Bonchon was recently consummated. The location of the property is 780 W Elliot Rd. in Tempe, AZ. The owner of the center is Anthony Leparulo Separate Property Trust. PHOENIX, ARIZONA — NAI Horizon represented the tenant in negotiating a long-term lease for Biltmore Nail Bar at the prestigious Biltmore Plaza shopping center, located at 3150 E. Camelback Rd., in Phoenix.
The NAI Horizon retail team of Gabe Ortega, Chris Gerow, Shelby Tworek and Patrick Anthon represented Biltmore Nail Bar, LLC of Phoenix in the 10-year lease transaction.
“Biltmore Plaza is one of the premier retail properties along the Camelback Corridor with a dynamic tenant roster that really caters to the high-end consumers in the area,” Ortega said. “The caliber of the build-out and concept that the tenant has planned here is going to set a new standard for luxury in the beauty and aesthetics service sector. In addition to manicures and pedicures, they will also offer waxing, facials, and therapeutic massage.”
The grand opening is scheduled for mid to late September.
Biltmore Nail Bar will occupy 5,000 square feet at Biltmore Plaza, which sits on 10.65 acres at the NWC of Camelback Road and 32nd Street. Built in 1979, Biltmore Plaza is anchored by a Safeway supermarket.
