SAHUARITA, ARIZONA — Richmond American Homes is the second homebuilder to join Rancho Sahuarita’s newest neighborhood of Entrada Del Rio, with the purchase of 42 finished lots for $2.41 million ($57,286 per lot). Last month, Lennar closed on the first 82 lots in the neighborhood.

Entrada Del Rio offers new homeowners ease of access in and out of the community, close proximity to the Rancho Sahuarita Marketplace, the Parque Del Rio neighborhood amenity, and a convenient location close to other amenities and schools.

Richmond adds to its Entrada La Villita neighborhood with its Seasons™ Collection that boasts larger floorplans, higher bedroom counts and a new model for prospective buyers in the market. Tucson Division President for Richmond, Michael J. Del Castillo, commented on the exciting announcement saying: “Our Seasons product was meticulously designed with homebuyers’ needs and budgets in mind, and has performed extremely well in the Tucson market. Entrada Del Rio will eventually be comprised of nearly 558 new home lots, to be opened in various phases featuring various builders. New homes will be the builder’s first in the award-winning master plan

TUCSON, Arizona – Rancho Sahuarita has announced that the first homes in its newest neighborhood of Entrada Del Rio will be built by award-winning builder, Lennar Homes.

The builder will make its official debut in the community, with plans to roll out a brand new series of plans for prospective homebuyers in the market.

The first 82 SFR lots transferred to Lennar for $4.62 million ($56,341 per lot) in Entrada Del Rio. Rancho Sahuarita has stopped here and continues to finish an additional 158 SFR lots to the north of this with 45’x110 and 50’x 120’ fully improved lots. Other homebuilders are of course showing an interest in the product. Rancho Sahuarita is an award-winning master planned community in Sahuarita, Arizona, with a highly amenitized lifestyle for the community’s 18,000 residents.

The community is also home to the Rancho Sahuarita Marketplace and the Sahuarita Town Center, both of which include commercial spaces available for leasing or sale. SAHUARITA, ARIZONA – Richmond American Homes recently bought 71 finished lots at Entrada La Villita, the newest community in Rancho Sahuarita Master-Planned Community, for $3.266 million ($46,000 per lot) from Rancho Sahuarita VIII, an affiliate of Sharpe & Associates (Robert Sharpe, president).

Ted Herman with Sharpe & Associates, who represented the seller in the transaction told us the decision to finish these 40’x 90’ lots in this new subdivision began about one year ago.

“We were waiting for retail to catch up with price point appreciation,” Herman said. “That seems to be happening now, and the outlook for new home builders looks great again. Rancho Sahuarita is also finishing another 165-lots which are already in escrow with two homebuilders.”  Entrada Del Rio has the potential for 560-lots to be finished, planned in six-phases.

Richmond’s long relationship with Rancho Sahuarita began in 2001 with the Presidio Del Sol neighborhood, before moving north into Presidio San Xavier, Presidio Coronado and Presidio Del Norte, which closed out last year.
