NAI Horizon negotiates long-term lease for Biscuits Cafe
NAI Horizon has negotiated a long-term lease worth $1.479 million for Biscuits Café at Terrazza Center, 24874 N. 67th Ave. in Peoria, Arizona. The NAI retail properties team of Senior Vice Presidents Shelby Tworek, Chris Gerow and Gabe Ortega and Associate Patrick Anthon represented the tenant, Biscuits Café, Inc. of Portland, Oregon.

“Being so close to Christ’s Church of the Valley, the owners felt it would provide excellent exposure for their concept, in a very underserved area of the Valley,” Gerow said.

Biscuits Café is in four states and now five Arizona cities: Peoria, Chandler, San Tan Valley, Surprise, and Glendale. Owners Ed and Barbara Preston have been in the restaurant business since 1968. Biscuits Café will take 4,300-square-feet at Terrazza Center. The landlord is N&I Development, LLC of Newport Beach, California.

RETAIL – SEC GILBERT & OCOTILLO RD., GILBERT
A lease for 1,800-square-feet to Barre3 was recently consummated.  The location of the property is SEC Gilbert Rd. & Ocotillo Rd. The owner of the center is Klusman Family Holdings, LLC.  Jake Ertle and Kevin Roessler of Rein & Grossoehme represented the Tenant.

RETAIL – THUNDERBIRD PLAZA SHOPPING CENTER, PEORIA
A lease for 990-square-feet in Thunderbird Plaza Shopping Center to GK’s Vapor Pub, LLC was recently consummated.  The location of the property is 7558 W. Thunderbird Rd. in Peoria, AZ.  GK’s Vapor Pub has 2 other locations.  Jim Edwards of Rein & Grossoehme represented the tenant. Erin Schrauth of Strategic Retail Group represented the landlord.

RETAIL – 1430 N CENTRAL AVE., AVONDALE
A lease for 640-square-feet to Beauty Zone was recently consummated.  The location of the property is 1430 N. Central Ave. in Avondale, AZ. The owner of the center is Sewa Dhanjal. Kevin Roessler of Rein & Grossoehme represented the Landlord and Tenant.




Phoenix Lease Report July 24-28, 2017

The following commercial leases were reported to the Real Estate Daily News for the Phoenix Lease Report from July 24 thru 28, 2017.

OFFICE – 1760 E PECOS, GILBERT
Justin Horwitz and Jonathan Levy have leased 4,918-square-feet of office space at 1760 E Pecos in Gilbert. The space was leased to New Direction Fertility Centers, LLC.  The landlord, Rome Towers, LLC, was represented by SVN in the lease deal.

OFFICE – 1440 S COUNTY CLUB, MESA
MBI Urgent Care leased 4,428-square-feet recently.  The location of the property is Mesa Marketplace at 1440 S. Country Club Dr. in Mesa The owner of the center is Mesa Marketplace, LLC.  Jared Lively of Rein & Grossoehme CRE represented the landlord and the tenant on this transaction.

RETAIL – 9190 W UNION HILLS DR., PEORIA
Mary Nollenberger and Rommie Mojahed have leased 4,132-square-feet of retail space to Q Nail Bar, LLC. The space is located at 9190 W Union Hills Drive in Peoria. The landlord was the represented by the Retail team with the SVN Phoenix office.

RETAIL – 1927 N GILBERT RD., MESA
Rommie Mojahed and Beau Flahart have leased 2,000-square-feet at Village Grove Center to Starbucks Corp. The retail space is located at 1927 N. Gilbert Road in Mesa. The landlord, CVP-Village Grove, LLC, was represented by the SVN Phoenix office.

Jonathan Levy and Justin Horwitz have leased 1,472 square-feet to Summit Medical Weightloss Clinics.  They both represented the landlord, 10240 Bell Road Associates, LLC in the transaction. The property is located at 10240 W Bell Road in Sun City.

Beau Flahart and Rommie Mojahed have leased 1,155-square-feet at 5540 E Broadway Road in Mesa.  The suite in Broadway Plaza was leased to Barre Physique. The landlord, Gabriel G Saia, Jr. was represented by the SVN Phoenix office.

OFFICE – 8687 E VIA DE VENTURA, SCOTTSDALE 
Justin Horwitz and Jonathan Levy have leased 979-square-feet of space at Ventura Gateway to Florence Management, LLC. The office space is located at 8687 E Via De Ventura in Scottsdale. The landlord, Ventura Management, LLC, was represented by the SVN Phoenix office.

OFFICE – 2345 E THOMAS RD., PHOENIX
Nicole Ridberg has leased 859-square-feet of office space at Green Gables Office Complex to SP Jedi. The space is located at 2345 E Thomas Road in Phoenix. The landlord, GRA-D Corp, was represented by the Desert Commercial Advisors in the lease transaction.

Phoenix Lease Report July 3-7, 2017

The following commercial leases were reported to the Real Estate Daily News for the Phoenix Lease Report from July 3 thru 7, 2017.

RETAIL – 4913 W BELL RD., GLENDALE, AZ
NAI Horizon negotiated a long-term retail lease on behalf of the landlord for American Freight Furniture at Bell Tower Village, 4913 W. Bell Rd., in Glendale, Ariz. The NAI Horizon retail properties team of Senior Vice Presidents Chris Gerow, Shelby Tworek and Gabe Ortega and Associate Patrick Anthon represented New Bell Tower, LLC, of Greenwood, Colo., in the transaction that totaled $1.266 million.

American Freight Furniture, a discount furniture and mattress retailer, will occupy 25,700-square-feet at Bell Tower Village. Anchors at the neighborhood center include Walgreen’s, Harbor Freight Tools, and Planet Fitness. The tenant, American Freight of Tennessee, LLC, is from Delaware, Ohio.

“The new owners have been investing a substantial amount of money to rehab this center,” Tworek said. “The vision of the center was to take the failed restaurant concept and then combine the adjoining vacant space to create a mini-major space which was the original design of the shopping center.  “We were fortunate to come to terms with a furniture store that has 140 locations nationwide. That will help generate additional traffic into the shopping center and benefit co-tenants as well as the neighborhood,” Tworek said.

OFFICE – 1255 W BASELINE RD., MESA, AZ
A lease for 1,883-square-feet to LogIQ Escape Room was recently consummated.  The location of the property is 1255 W. Baseline Rd. in Mesa, AZ. The owner of the center is 1255 Baseline, LLC. Kevin Roessler of Rein & Grossoehme represented the Tenant and Jamie Swirtz of CBRE represented the Landlord.

OFFICE – 4904 S POWER RD., STE 105, GILBERT, AZ
Brian & Tom Woods of Colliers International represented Vestar, the landlord on a 5-year lease with Davis Chiropractic at Gilbert Gateway Towne Center, 4904 S. Power Road, Gilbert, AZ, 85230, Suite 105, for 1,500-square-feet.  Matt Bustamante of Realty One Group represented the Tenant.  Signed in June 2017.

RETAIL – 15620 N 35TH AVE., PHOENIX, AZ
A lease for 1,020-square-feet to MLS Arms, LLC was recently consummated.  The location of the property is 15620 N. 35th Ave. in Phoenix, AZ.  Nic Chavira of Rein & Grossoehme represented the Landlord and Tenant.
