NAI Horizon negotiated a long-term lease on behalf of the landlord of a free-standing building in Mesa that serves as a flexible workplace center with executive suites. NAI Horizon Senior Vice Presidents Laurel Lewis; Barbara Lloyd, CCIM; and Lane Neville represented Old Town Val Vista LLC in leasing the 59,418-square-foot building at 3707 E. Southern Ave., in Mesa. The former movie theater was converted to Class A office space in 2006. The tenant, Regus, offers shared office environments in locations across the world.

“The landlord’s forward thinking at the time of renovation provided a perfect environment for Regus to fill a need for desk space in a thriving Mesa community,” Lewis said.  The property is located at Southern and Val Vista, an area in Mesa that is undergoing a transformation. It is just off the US60 with close proximity to both the loops 101 and 202 freeways.

INDUSTRIAL – 15330 N HAYDEN RD., SCOTTSDALE
Rick Borane of Volk Company in Tucson represented Kierland Leather LLC in its lease of 16,968-square-feet at 15330 North Hayden Road, Suite 100, in Scottsdale. The landlord was Hayden 115, LLC and was represented by Michael Kitlica of Cushman & Wakefield.

A lease for 2,600-square-feet in El Dorado Crossing to Bonchon was recently consummated.  The location of the property is 780 W Elliot Rd. in Tempe, AZ.  The owner of the center is Anthony Leparulo Separate Property Trust. Nic Chavira and Jake Ertle of Rein and Grossoehme Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant and Gabe Ortega, Chris Gerow, Shelby Tworek, and Patrick Anthon of NAI Horizon represented the owner.

A lease for 800square-feet in Palms Plaza Shopping Center to Chanderdai’s Tailoring & Alterations was recently consummated.  The location of the property is 7346-7426 N. 51st Ave. in Glendale, AZ.  Jared Lively & Kevin Roessler of Rein & Grossoehme represented the owner and tenant.

NAI Horizon negotiates $1.3M purchase of Gilbert strip center

Highland Corner, 4024 E. Guadalupe Rd., Gilbert, AZ

PHOENIX, ARIZONA — The NAI Horizon investment sales team of Senior Vice Presidents Barbara Lloyd and Lane Neville represented the buyer in the $1.3 million acquisition of Highland Corner, 4024 E. Guadalupe Rd., in Gilbert, Ariz.

The buyer is GGR Holdings, Inc., a Nevada corporation. The seller was Recker-Highland Corner LLC.

“At 100 percent occupancy, this acquisition provides our client with a quality, stabilized asset located in a submarket with very solid demographics,” Lloyd said. “We were pleased to secure this investment for GGR Holdings in a highly competitive buying environment for assets in this price range.”

The property is a retail strip center and totals 7,558 square feet. Tenants include Tutoring Club, Can Dance, Hair Unlimited, and Sun Valley Nails. Judi Butterworth and Lacey Eyman of ORION Investment Real Estate represented the seller.
